What does each product actually deliver?
Price Control delivers a weekly action report identifying and prioritising Marketplace Price Drift cases, a monthly management summary, and an evidence pack for each escalation-level case. Market Signals delivers a monthly report across eight signal sections. Risk Validation delivers a monthly risk report, a case deep dive per priority case, and an evidence pack per deep dive case. Real sample reports are available on the Margin Defense product page.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. All services are available on a month-to-month basis with no minimum term. Engagements renew automatically each month until cancelled. Either party may cancel with 30 days written notice. There are no setup fees.
Can I try it before committing to a monthly engagement?
Yes. The Marketplace Exposure Assessment is a one-time Margin Defense diagnostic across up to 10 priority SKUs, delivered once with a findings call, for $2,500. If you begin an ongoing engagement within 30 days, the full $2,500 is credited toward your first month.
What does “managed” mean in practice?
All three products are delivered as a fully managed intelligence service. You do not run queries, configure dashboards, or interpret raw data. We monitor your designated SKUs and channels, classify what we find, and deliver structured, action-ready reports on a defined cadence by email as PDF documents. There is no platform to log into.
Why do you monitor weekly or monthly rather than in real time?
It is a deliberate choice. Real-time alerting produces a high volume of noise that most teams cannot triage. A structured weekly or monthly review produces a short, prioritised queue of the cases actually worth acting on, each already classified and supported with evidence — fewer false alarms and a clear order of priority.
How is this different from monitoring software?
Monitoring software surfaces raw price changes and leaves the interpretation, prioritisation, evidence-gathering, and follow-up to you. The Margin Defense Suite does that work for you: every case is classified by cause, assessed for recurrence, matched to a recommended action, and delivered with evidence assembled. You are buying finished analytical work and judgment, not a data feed.
What data sources are used?
All three products are based exclusively on publicly observable external market data — visible marketplace listings, public seller profiles, observed pricing, and public review data. We do not access internal brand systems, retailer portals, or non-public data.
What is the evidence boundary for Risk Validation?
Risk Validation is a validation-prioritisation tool based on public market observation. Findings do not constitute legal conclusions, counterfeit determinations, route breach findings, or regulatory non-compliance assessments. Evidence packs support internal review and escalation decisions; their suitability for any specific enforcement or legal purpose should be assessed with appropriate legal counsel. Veltiosis does not warrant that evidence packs will be accepted by any platform, marketplace, or third party for enforcement purposes.
How is payment handled?
Invoices are issued monthly. Payment is accepted by wire transfer or by card and ACH via a secure Stripe payment link provided with each invoice. Before initiating any wire transfer, verify the wire instructions by phone using independently obtained contact details. For international clients, Wise is recommended for multi-currency wires.
How quickly can we get started?
Once scope is agreed and the engagement is confirmed, onboarding typically takes one to two weeks — defining your monitored SKU and channel set, establishing reference pricing, and configuring the monitoring framework. The first report is delivered on the agreed cadence from onboarding completion.
Who are these products designed for?
Premium brands in beauty, skincare, supplements, luxury goods, and adjacent categories where price positioning is a core part of brand equity. The typical buyer is a Head of Ecommerce, VP Brand, or Director of Digital where marketplace drift, visibility erosion, or gray-market risk are commercially meaningful concerns.
What is the AI Governance System?
AI Governance System is a separate Veltiosis product, currently in development. It is for companies adopting AI internally and is designed to support AI use-case intake, risk classification, policy mapping, owner assignment, control documentation, review evidence, and audit-ready oversight. You can register interest from the AI Governance page.
